Phase 1 Environmental Assessments
Our company conducts Phase 1 environmental site assessments for property transactions and initial environmental investigations. All Phase 1 assessments are conducted by registered Professional Geologists and include the following:
Phase 1 Projects Conducted
Four-Acre Vacant Land -- A Phase 1 environmental assessment showed no contamination on the property, but a detailed records search revealed that a landfill (not visible during the site inspection) was located adjacent to the property.
Circuit Board Manufacturer -- A Phase 1 assessment indicated potential soil and groundwater contamination by solvents.
Phase 2 Environmental Assessments
Our company has conducted numerous Phase 2 Environmental Assessments involving soil and groundwater sampling, and geophysical surveys to locate buried objects. Our company has an approved Quality Assurance Plan for sampling procedures. All sampling is conducted by registered Professional Geologists.
Phase 2 Projects Conducted
Circuit Board Manufacturer -- Phase 2 assessment sampling confirmed the soil and groundwater impacts suspected during the Phase 1 Environmental Assessment at the site.
Boat Storage Yard -- Phase 2 assessment soil sampling was conducted with an organic vapor analyzer (OVA). Areas of soil impacts were confirmed with laboratory analyzed soil samples.
Our firm has conducted Contamination Assessments at industrial and commercial sites. These sites were contaminated with petroleum, solvents, metals, and inorganics. Contamination assessments conducted consisted of soil and groundwater sampling, geophysical surveys, hydrologic testing, groundwater modeling, and report preparation. All contamination assessment work was conducted by registered Professional Geologists following approved procedures.
Our company works in close cooperation with Florida Spill Response Corporation , a respected firm that specializes in Bioremediation, Site Remediation and Spill Response. Florida Spill Response Corporation has conducted numerous remedial actions and emergency responses nationwide and worldwide.
Contamination Assessments Conducted
Electronics Manufacturer -- The contamination assessment delineated the horizontal and vertical extent of groundwater and soils impacted by chlorinated solvents. A Remedial Action Plan was written after approval of the Contamination Assessment Report.
